Workshops and Classes:

Honoring Your Body for Teens

How do you honor your body? What are the ways you care for it? How does media and peer pressure influence how you feel about your body? What boundaries do you need with a partner? How do you negotiate that without driving someone away? What about dealing with pressure to have sex? Teens will learn healthy ways to view their bodies, and negotiate about being physically and emotionally close and connected while keeping their values and limits intact.

Suggested audience: Middle School, High School, College bound

Dating, Relationships, and Respect

Teens explore the many forms relationships can take, from hanging out to "hooking up." Whether you're dating, "going out," or "just friends," this workshop will help you clarify what you stand for and what you won't stand for. We'll learn about communication styles, explore when talking or texting is best, and practice skills you can use in real dating situations.

Suggested audience: Middle School, High School, Youth Group

Just Say KNOW

Knowledge is power, so be informed! This class for teens uses a holistic sexuality model and includes information on understanding your values, as well as topics like healthy relationships, boundaries, communication, plus sexual orientation, healthy relationships, gender identity, and more!

Suggested audience: Middle School, High School, Youth group

Risky Business: Weighing Options and Reducing Risk for Pregnancy and Disease

What are the real risks of becoming sexually active? What does "sexually active" mean, anyway? Can I get pregnant or sick without having sex? What are the facts? What should I do? Teens learn about risk reduction, clarifying their values, peer pressure, media messages, and more in an interactive workshop.
